Tivimate Installation / Setup
(Information is installation on a ONN 4k Device)
- Open Downloader and put in code 501041 or URL redpixelhosting.com/apk/xFirestreamztivi510.apk . Then hit “Go”
- After downloading, the system will ask to Install the app
- A prompt for Google Play Protect should come up (if not, move to #4)
- Do not turn on Play Protect, so DECLINE this option
- This should install Tivimate to your device and get the “App Installed” popup. Your choice to either open the app or click “Done”( If you click on done, it will take you back to Downloader).
- Back on the home screen, you should now see the Tivimate Logo. If not, look at your apps and there should be a + to add, then find Tivimate and add it.
Setup of Tivimate
- Open up Tivimate
- Upon opening of the app, it will ask to “Please allow Tivimate to display over other apps”. This is needed. Click on “Settings”
- This will then opening the settings page. Find the Tivimate app and click on it to allow to display over other apps. Once change made, click back.
- Once back in the app, you should see “Welcome to Tivimate”.
- Click on “Add Playlist”
- Select your Service between LiveTV and VOD by clicking it. * If you have both of these, you can add them later in the app.
- The next screen will ask for your login details. *If you clicked on LiveTV, you need to uncheck the “Include VOD” as this is not an option.
- Once this is complete, you can click on “Done”, which will take you to the next screen
- If everything is correct, it will start processing the information (communicating to the system to check your login information)
If the information is correct you will get “Playlist is processed” screen that shows the channels (movies, series as well if you did VOD).
Click on “Done” to take you to the main screen
Additional Setup Help / Tips
Channels / EPG: Channels and EPG should automatically update when you open the app, but you can manually update them as well.
- For EPG: Go to “Settings” in the app and go to EPG. Scroll down until you see “Update EPG” and click. It will turn grey and start to circle. Once complete the latest status should show below
- For Channels: Go to “Settings” in the app and then to Playlist. Click on “Update all Playlist”. You can also go into the certain Playlist and update each one separately if needed.
Add another Playlist (for those users that have LiveTV and VOD)
- On your remote, click left 2 times (this should show you all the categories) and click on “Settings”
- Click on “Playlists”
- Click on “Add Playlist”
- This brings you to the same screen you saw in the beginning asking to select the playlist and add in your information.
Manage Groups (Add/Remove groups you don’t want to see)
- Bring up all the categories as you did before
- Click and HOLD the center (or select button) on a category (US-Entertainment for example).
- A menu on the right should open up
- Scroll down the menu until you see “Manage Groups” and click on it.
- Uncheck any group you want to “hide” or not see in the categories group. You can always go back in and check any that you want to add back in.
Favorites
- Go to the channel you are wanting to favorite. Click and Hold the center (select) button to bring up the side menu. Scroll down to “Add to Favorites”
- In this same menu, you can do a multiple of things including blocking or hiding the channel or setup recording (if you device or setup has the ability to do so).
- There are other little changes or tips, but this is a good start for people to get an understanding of the app.
